Our Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Individual therapy is also called therapy, psychotherapy, psychosocial therapy, talk therapy, and counseling.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist with clinical experience working with couples, most often a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), helps two people involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.

fAMILY tHERAPY

Family therapy or family counseling is a form of treatment that is designed to address specific issues affecting the health and functioning of a family. It can be used to help a family through a difficult period, a major transition, or mental or behavioral health problems in family members.

Pre-Marital Therapy

Premarital counseling is a type of therapy that helps couples prepare for marriage. Premarital counseling can help ensure that you and your partner have a strong, healthy relationship — giving you a better chance for a stable and satisfying marriage. This kind of counseling can also help you identify weaknesses that could become problems during marriage.

LGBTQ+ Therapy

Affirmative therapy is: an approach to therapy that embraces a positive view of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) identities and relationships and addresses the negative influences that homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQ clients.

OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANCE

Therapy allows us the opportunity to move through life with insight and understanding of ourselves in our relation to others and our life experiences. We are able to explore the journey of life in a deeper way by becoming aware of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that occur on an unconscious level, but profoundly motivate our behavior and sabotage efforts for happiness. By doing so, we are able to integrate the various parts of ourselves allowing us to live a more authentic and genuine life. Through self-awareness, we are able to identify the right path to take that will resolve our conflicts and enable us to feel more alive and at peace.
