Activating Life’s Potential

You may find yourself feeling down or feeling anxious and stressed by circumstances in your life. Sometimes difficulties can come when we least expect them. The birth of your child, a move to a new location, the loss of a loved one, or changes in employment are all events that may leave you confused about how to move forward. It is normal to go through difficult times in your life, but you do not have to struggle alone!

Our Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Individual therapy is also called therapy, psychotherapy, psychosocial therapy, talk therapy, and counseling.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist with clinical experience works with couples. Most often a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) helps two people involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions.

fAMILY tHERAPY

Family therapy or family counseling is a form of treatment that is designed to address specific issues affecting the health and functioning of a family. It can be used to help a family through a difficult period, a major transition, or mental or behavioral health problems in family members.

Pre-Marital Therapy

Premarital counseling is a type of therapy that helps couples prepare for marriage. Premarital counseling can help ensure that you and your partner have a strong, healthy relationship — giving you a better chance for a stable and satisfying marriage. This kind of counseling can also help you identify weaknesses that could become problems during marriage.

LGBTQ+ Therapy

Affirmative therapy is defined as an approach to therapy that embraces a positive view of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) identities and relationships. This therapy seeks to address the negative influences that homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQ clients.
