Insurance
Insurance We Accept
IN-NETWORK INSURANCE
BILLING RATE OF $125/session
I am currently an in-network provider with Anthem/BCBS, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, Humana, Optum/United Healthcare.
If any of these is your insurance provider, you may be eligible for mental health benefits, which I can bill directly.
OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE
For out-of-network clients (meaning, if you have a provider not listed above), I offer direct billing to your provider, given your payment of my full out-of-pocket fee for each session. You may be eligible for partial reimbursement for your session(s) directly from your provider.
If you are attempting to utilize your insurance benefits – in-network or out-of-network, I recommend you call your provider directly to clarify your benefits prior to meeting with me.
Here Are A List of Questions You Can Ask Your Insurance Provider
Here are the key items to ask about when speaking with your provider:
1. What are my “Out-of-Network, Out-Patient, Mental/Behavioral Health Benefits” when seeing a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT); (Insurance companies sometimes distinguish between Psychiatrist, Psychologist, and Mental Health Counselor or Associate. Make sure you specify that you will be seeing an outpatient Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
2. Do I need a referral from my Primary Care Provider (PCP) to receive Mental Health services?
3. Do I have a deductible, coinsurance, or copayment?
5. Does Pre-Certification apply? (Does the insurance company have to approve the treatment prior to starting therapy?)
Payment Methods
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, and the following credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). Please note that there is a 4% convenience fee on credit card transactions to cover the cost of this secure and convenient payment service. We will provide, upon request, a receipt of payment.
In the event that you are unable to keep an appointment, you must notify your therapist at least 24 hours in advance by email or phone. If such advance notice is not received, you will be financially responsible for the session you missed. The fee is paid in full at the end of each session.
